Atalaya Golf & Country Club

36 . 2 x 18-hole golf courses (both Par 72). One from 1968 and one recent new golf course. The old and new wide golf courses intertwine, through beautiful nature and countless pines, eucalyptus and olive trees. The old golf course is a classic park course with wide fairways; the new course is challenging and has beautiful views.

El Paraiso Golf

Special : A fairly flat golf course with lots of space, nice for the advanced and the beginning golfer, the course is easy to walk. The clubhouse/restaurant is good.
Location : Estepona East- On the north side of the coastal highway A-7, Exit 167 at the “Benavista” shopping center. From Estepona, therefore, first drive in the right direction (back towards Estepona) via “cambio de Sentido” (Benahavis). El Paraiso Golf is about 2 km to the right of the highway.
After about 2 km follow the signs to Estepona Golf Clubhouse (up the hill by the lake).

Valderrama – Sotogrande

Location : From the coastal road A-7 from Estepona towards Sotogrande. At exit km131 turn off, go under the road and then under the coastal road again at km130. North of the coastal road, Valderrama is then about 2km to the right, just before other golf courses such as Almenara and La Reserva.

Alcaidesa

18 .Without doubt 1 of the most beautifully situated golf courses. Alcaidesa is by the sea overlooking the Rock of Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of Africa.

- From the AP-7 toll road, exit San Pedro. At the traffic circle south of the toll road, take the side road toward La Quinta Golf (about 1 km). La Quinta golf is well marked from here.
- From the coastal highway A-7, take exit A397 (Direction Ronda). After about 2 km at the traffic circle that is just before the AP-7, turn right. Follow the signs.

Los Arqueros

27 (18 +9) 18, Par 72. Opened in 1991, this was the first golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros. This beautiful golf course with 3 lakes, is located in a stunning setting with exceptionally beautiful views of the mountains and sea from several holes. With Africa and Gibraltar in the background on clear days.

18, Par 72. Located in natural surroundings near Benahavis, since 1989, and designed by Jose Cancedo. Is known as one of the most spectacular of the coast, in the top 5 golf courses, partly because of its beautiful nature. A course you must have played….

After passing under the AP-7, you will first pass Marbella Golf Club. Stay on the road to Benahavis, on which you will automatically encounter Monte Mayor.

Special : Very well maintained golf course, wide and with beautiful views of the Mediterranean sea and mountains and the beautiful 5 star hotel “Villa Padierna”. Beautiful complex with more courses under construction, everything is done to perfection. There is a stylish clubhouse/restaurant.
Location : Estepona East, on the road to San Pedro- Marbella.
From Estepona, take the coastal road A-7. After about 10 minutes, take the exit (salida) “Cambio de Sentido- Cancelada”. Cross the A-7 at the traffic circle straight ahead. Keep going straight all the time (including traffic circles) and follow the signs until you arrive at Los Flamingos.

Rio Real Golf Club

18, Par 72. Located just outside Marbella. Old and tree-lined parkland course. Beautifully situated in a valley.

Special : Bordering the Real River, which runs through the golf course. Beautifully located old course with flat and hilly holes, the course is well maintained and the surroundings are well cared for, definitely worth a visit. The clubhouse and restaurant are stylish, but not inexpensive.
Location : East of Marbella, after about 3 km on the coastal highway A-7 towards Malaga, take exit 185 (from the direction of Malaga: 186). From the coastal road to Rio Real, it is about 2 km (heading inland).

La Cala is located under the AP-7 about 6 km from the coastal road and is signposted.
